The Hoya Autumn Blush is a stunning and unique cultivar of Hoya, known for its beautiful, blush-colored flowers and attractive, waxy foliage. This plant features vibrant clusters of star-shaped flowers that bloom in shades of pink and white, creating a striking contrast against its dark green leaves with a reddish tint, making it a perfect addition to any plant collection.

Hoya Autumn Blush Care Tips:

1. Light:

Prefers bright, indirect light. While it can tolerate some direct sunlight, too much can cause leaf burn. Keep it in a location where it will receive filtered light throughout the day.

2. Soil:

Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a cactus or succulent mix, combined with orchid bark or perlite to ensure proper drainage and prevent root rot.

3. Watering:

Water only when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. This Hoya prefers to dry out between waterings, so be careful not to overwater. Ensure the pot has good drainage.

4. Humidity:

Thrives in moderate to high humidity levels but can adapt to average household humidity. Misting or placing the plant on a humidity tray can help maintain the humidity it prefers.

5. Temperature:

Ideal temperature range is between 60°F to 80°F (15°C - 27°C). Avoid placing the plant in cold drafts or near temperature extremes to keep it happy.

6. Fertilization:

Feed every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half strength. Reduce fertilization in the winter months when the plant is not actively growing.

7. Propagation:

Propagate via stem cuttings with at least one node. Place the cuttings in water or soil, ensuring they are kept warm and humid to encourage root development.

8. Pests & Diseases:

Hoya Autumn Blush is generally pest-resistant, but it can occasionally attract mealybugs or aphids. Regularly inspect the plant for pests and treat promptly with an insecticidal soap or neem oil if necessary.
