Philodendron Florida Beauty is a rare and highly sought-after variety of philodendron, known for its unique, deeply lobed leaves with striking variegation. Each leaf showcases a beautiful mix of green and creamy yellow, with no two leaves having the same pattern. This stunning plant makes a bold statement in any plant collection, adding a touch of elegance and tropical beauty to indoor spaces.

Philodendron Florida Beauty Care Tips:

1. Light:

Thrives in bright, indirect light. Variegation will be more pronounced with ample light, but avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.

2. Soil:

Use a well-draining potting mix with soil, perlite, and orchid bark. This blend provides good aeration and prevents water retention, which helps avoid root rot.

3. Watering:

Water when the top half of soil is dry. Be sure to water thoroughly, allowing any excess water to drain out. Avoid letting the plant sit in water, as this can cause root issues.

4. Humidity:

Prefers higher humidity levels, around 60% or more, but can adapt to standard indoor conditions. Misting the plant or using a humidifier can promote healthier growth.

5. Temperature:

Best kept in a temperature range of 65-80°F (18-27°C). Keep away from cold drafts and avoid temperatures below 55°F (13°C), as it is sensitive to cold.

6. Fertilization:

Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring and summer). In the fall and winter, reduce feeding to every 6-8 weeks.

7. Pruning & Maintenance:

Prune to maintain its shape and remove any yellowing or damaged leaves. Clean the leaves regularly to remove dust and keep them shiny.

8. Propagation:

Philodendron Florida Beauty can be propagated by stem cuttings. Make sure the cutting includes a node, and plant it in well-draining soil. Provide warmth and humidity for successful propagation.
